Opportunity only means something if it isn't limited to families who can already afford every advantage. That belief shapes how I work, with a commitment to serving historically underserved students, sliding-scale rates, and a practice built around fit over prestige.
Ten percent of everything Gallantly earns goes straight to two causes that matter to me: providing direct financial support to keep promising students’ paths to college open, and making sure kids who need bicycles can get them for free.
Founded in 2023, the Raymond J. Rue Memorial Scholarship is a tribute to the life of Raymond J. Rue, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and dear friend who tragically lost his life to an act of senseless gun violence. In the wake of this devastating loss, the scholarship was established to honor his memory and provide support to young adults who have also experienced the profound impact of gun violence in their lives.
This scholarship aims to alleviate the financial burden of education for those whose lives have been deeply affected by gun violence, helping them pursue their dreams despite the challenges they may face. Through the Raymond J. Rue Memorial Scholarship, the enduring legacy of a life cut short too soon by violence becomes a chance for others to heal, grow, and honor their own loved ones while building a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Kids' Bike Day began as an answer to a deceptively simple problem: too many kids don't have bikes, and too many bikes are sitting unused in basements and garages. What started with a single bike swap has grown into an ongoing volunteer-run initiative dedicated to closing that gap.
Through Kids' Bike Day, donated bikes are collected, refurbished, and connected to families who need them—entirely through the generosity of volunteers who give their time, tools, and effort to make it happen. The initiative also organizes and supports events focused on bike safety, education, and community health.
To date, Kids' Bike Day has placed over 50 bikes with children and families in Brooklyn and counting. Every bike that finds a new home is a small act of community care. If you would like to make a donation of any kind, please reach out to me at lydia@sogallantly.com.
“I was so impressed with how many bike donations you were able to source for kids. Loads of kids walked away with bigger bikes, upgraded bikes, or their first bike ever! I heard one kid say ‘You should have come to Bike Day— they gave away like 100 bikes for free!’
